Fanbeam

The system is primarily used as a dynamic positioning (DP) reference sensor measuring the position of an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) relative to an offshore structure such as a platform. Using the position data from the Fanbeam and other sensors, the DP system automatically holds the vessel on station allowing operations to take place.

Cavity Auto-Scanning Laser System

Measurement Devices Ltd (MDL) have developed a robotic laser surveying system capable of being inserted into voids and cavities via predrilled boreholes to quickly and safely survey old workings. This system is known as the Cavity-Auto-Scanning Laser System (C-ALS®).

Void Scanner Mk2

The Void Scanner (VS150 - a cavity monitoring system) is designed to complement the successful Cavity Auto Scanning Laser System (C-ALS). Both systems are designed for scanning inaccessible voids, but the VS150 has been designed specifically to facilitate boom deployment into stopes, cavities, manholes and bunkers.

Rodded Boretrak

The Rodded Boretrak is a unique, cost effective, portable non-magnetic, non-gyro borehole deviation surveying system. As the system is not affected by magnetic influences, flooded holes or casing, the Rodded Boretrak can be used after drilling to assess deviation.

Quarryman® Pro

Quarryman® Pro is the latest version of MDL's Industry Standard laser rock profiling system, Quarryman®, now in use by most major surface mine and quarry operators. The system uses include 3D rockface profiling (to determine rockface geometry and blast hole burdens), stockpile volume measurement and 3D mapping of entire mine sites.

Dynascan

An integrated system with laser scanning, GPS & inertial navigation sensor all in ONE POD. For land and marine applications. Options are available to the Dynascan system depending upon the user's requirement or application. The system uses a variety of sensors to suit the particular needs of the survey being performed. For example, GPS heading sensor with separate pitch & roll sensor or GPS / INS sensor combined.
